Irish IT systems administrator Ray believes he'll be great in the House because he's chatty, outgoing and a real people person. The 25-year-old is a football fan and loves clubbing but one thing he WON'T miss about the outside world is daytime TV. Ray says if he could be reincarnated he would come back as a chicken!
Ray visits the gym five times a week, makes a mean spaghetti bolognaise and hates noisy eaters. He once had to dress up as a teapot and also celebrated St Patrick's Day by having a tattoo on his back.
Why Big Brother?: "I can go to bed at the crack of dawn, be myself, relax, have a good time, meet some interesting people and be in with a chance to win a lot of money for being me...why not?"

On Day 39, Ray was nominated for eviction after receiving three nominations from his fellow housemates, alongside Gos and Nush. He survived the eviction on Day 44 with just 17.91% of the public vote. Ray left the House as the runner-up on Day 64 with 42.5% of the final public vote.

He now works in the radio, television and entertainment industry in Ireland. He presents radio shows on Dublin's Q102 and TV shows on City Channel. Ray also works as a club DJ playing at venues around Ireland.

- Coincidentally, all three of the first ever housemates from this country finished as either the winner or runner-up of their series.
- Ray was the first ever housemate to be titled as the Head of House.
- Ray was the first ever housemate to be granted the opportunity to nominate three housemates for eviction.
- In Big Brother 4, Ray nominated Jon Tickle all four weeks that he was in the House.
- In 2006, Ray found a Big Brother Golden Ticket, which would normally give the finder a chance to enter the Big Brother House; however, as Ray had already entered the House previously, he was ineligible to re-enter.
