Jack Peter Benedict Whitehall (born July 7th, 1988) is an English comedian and television presenter. He was one of numerous presenters of Big Brother's Big Mouth in 2008 and was the main presenter in 2009 during Celebrity Big Brother 6.

Personal Life[]

Jack Whitehall was educated at the Dragon School, a preparatory school in Oxford, then at Marlborough College in Wiltshire. Shortly after leaving school he decided to pursue a career in stand up comedy.


For his stand up comedy, Whitehall has receieved a number of awards such as:

  • Winning the Amused Moose Laugh Off 2007
  • Winning the Charlie Harthill Special Reserve in 2007
  • Being a finalist in So You Think You're Funny?
  • Coming runner up in the Laughing Horse New Act of The Year competition
  • Nomination for Best Newcomer at the 2008 Chortle Awards

In August 2009, Jack will be performing his first solo stand up, Nearly Rebellious, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

In 2008, during Big Brother 9, Whitehall presented two separate weeks of Big Brother's Big Mouth. For the subsequent celebrity series, he presented BBBM for the whole series.

Whitehall has appeared on other Channel 4 shows, such as 8 Out Of 10 Cats and The Sunday Night Project, and is now presenting his own television series, TNT, with co presenter Holly Walsh, also on Channel 4.
